DBE Forum
10 Year Anniversary of the DBE Forum
The DBE Forum is an event where financial professionals demo the latest technology, hear from executives on how to improve, learn from panels of peers and industry speakers, and join in on the annual celebration of bringing clients and industry partners together.
The Logo
With the 10 year anniversary being such a large milestone, this year’s forum needed a logo to differentiate itself. I worked through multiple different iterations to nail down the direction we wanted to go. In collaborating with my team, we took these ideas and distilled them down to these ten options here.
It was important to take into consideration the applications that the logo would be used in. It would be used on large & small print media as well as distributed digitally on our website and social media channels. Through these considerations we discovered the problems with some options and it helped narrow down the options.
The Final Choice
After testing the logo in multiple formats and checking in with the high level stakeholders, the final design was selected. It keeps the overall feel and brand of the forum in mind as well as being cohesive the the DBE brand as a whole.
Forum Booklet
The Main Event
The Forum Booklet is the primary source of information that all attendees are given upon arrival at the event. It includes all vendor and sponsor info, as well as the speaker lineup at a quick look at what DBE has to offer.
Forum Marketing Collateral
The Forum marketing collateral was designed to fit the DBE brand while still being able to stand out on it’s own. Our partner & sponsor branding was taken into consideration as their marketing materials would often times be displayed alongside the DBE Forum materials at the event. In the financial technology space, modern design elements and sans serif type rule the landscape, so the Forum brand would use these in order to create a cohesive environment.
Many of the attendees of the Forum were already familiar with the DBE brand. This let me have a little more creative agency with the Forum branding as there was more room to work on materials that could still be considered a part of our brand, but had a more dynamic approach to their applications.
Live Video Demos
These live demos were shown at the Forum on our ITM screens. It gives financial institutions a first hand look at how the waiting screen’s on their ITM machines can show marketing materials as the customer begins to interact with the machine. This demo also included the full suite of advertising opportunities within the transaction itself (not shown here).
